The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University houses writing resources and instructional material, and we provide these as a free service of the Writing Lab at Purdue. Khan Academy is a personalized learning experience that uses videos and exercises to engage students across a wide range of subjects, with a special emphasis on math and computer programming. Each student is given a year-long “Mission” which correlates with their own ability level, grade or subject, they are currently working on. In Khan Academy, each student can learn at their own pace, get immediate feedback and immediate assistance, and earn points and badges to unlock fun avatars as an added motivation.
